    Abstract
Research on liken at the Tenggulun Restoration Station has not been carried out until now. This study aimed to identify the types of liken, analyze secondary metabolite content, and test liken antioxidants on types that can be tested at the Tenggulun Restoration Station in the Leuser Ecosystem Area (LEA) Aceh Tamiang Regency, using exploration methods. The research data consisted of species name, character, and ecological conditions, including height, air humidity, temperature, pH, and light intensity. Sampling was performed on all types of substrate along the tracking path. Liken secondary metabolite tests include those for alkaloids, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, triterpenoids, and steroids. The antioxidant activity of liken was tested using the DPPH method. The research results found 25 types of liken from 14 tribes and 21 genera with different types of talus. The types of thallus liken that are most commonly found are grouped into 19 crustose types, 4 foliose types, 1 filamentous type and 1 squamulose types. Ecological conditions at the research location vary, including height 36 meters above sea level – 106 meters above sea level, air temperature 28.50C – 35.10C, air humidity 53% – 76%, light intensity 1210 Lux – 4430 Lux, Soil pH 6 – 6.5, Soil Moisture 5% – 7.5 %. The results of the secondary metabolite test on the types Coenogonium leprieurii and Parmotrema perlatum have similar contents, they contain terpenoid compounds. The results of antioxidant tests on Coenogonium leprieurii and Parmotrema perlatum showed medium and strong antioxidant activity respectively.
