dc.description.abstract | Along with the growth of the e-commerce industry market, companies in this sector
faces challenges to manage and improve the efficiency of the logistics process,
especially in the inbound warehouse. PT. Global Digital Niaga, Tbk is currently
focusing on maintaining customer demand by providing high quality products so it
requires a strategy to face competition which includes maintaining product quality,
productivity in the market and continuing to make improvements. However, the
inbound goods inspection method used by the company is still 100% inspection
which takes quite a long time, especially if the volume of incoming goods is high
and hampers the pace of operations and results in not achieving the KPI target of
99%. The purpose of this research is to design inspection procedures by
implementing the MIL STD 105E Acceptance Sampling Plan method for sampling
goods and determining the acceptance or rejection of samples in the lot. The method
of inspecting goods is based on the MIL STD 105E acceptance sampling plan
method with an AQL of 0.25%, where the inspection consists of a single sampling
plan that begins with a normal inspection at general inspection level III. The results
of the research on 1 PO are that there are 19 accepted lots and 7 rejected lots. The
inspection results show that there is a transfer of normal inspection to tightened
because of the previous 5 lots there are 2 rejected lots. The next level of inspection
is tightened because the acceptance sampling procedure has not been fulfilled to
move to the other level. From these results, it causes a decrease in time usage from
379624 seconds to 218428 seconds, which is 42,46% in the inbound inspection
process. The inspection process that has been designed is then developed in the
form of a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as a guide to the implementation
of activities. | en_US |
