This study aims to examine ard analyze the effect of Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) as independent variables on Profitability as the dependent variable, and the moderating ability of inflation on the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. The research method employed in this study is quantitative research with panel data regression analysis using Eviews. The research subjects are banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022. Prarposive sampling was used to select the sample, resulting in 175 observations. The results of this study indicate that Non- Performing Loans have a negative effect on Profitability, while Loan to Deposit Ratio has a positive effect on Profitability. However, inflation does not moderate the relationship between Non-Performing Loans and Loan to Deposit Ratio on Profitability.
