This study investigates the Entrepreneurial University model at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) as it transitions to an Independent University (PTNBH). Utilizing a qualitative approach with interactive models, the research draws insights from the academic community and partners. Findings indicate that USU, as a PTNBH, lacks cohesive entrepreneurial policies and mindsets, resulting in a fragmented model. Challenges include insufficient socialization and inconsistent policy implementation. To address these issues, USU must integrate entrepreneurship into the curriculum, supported by advanced facilities, infrastructures, and industry partnerships to facilitate knowledge transfer and reward achievements. Active engagement from students, lecturers, alumni, and staff is crucial. Students should participate in entrepreneurial initiatives, lecturers need specialized training, alumni should provide mentorship, and staff must offer logistical support. This holistic approach aims to create a dynamic ecosystem that fosters economic growth and societal advancement through entrepreneurial programs at USU.
