The diversity of ethnic groups and cultures in Indonesia is reflected in the traditional values passed down by ancestors, including in the diversity of traditional house architecture. However, the development of time and the digital era has resulted in a decline in society's interest in cultural heritage such as the Karo Traditional House. This research aims to provide solutions to increase visitor interest by utilizing Virtual Reality (VR) technology and Gamification. Meanwhile, the Linear Congruent Method (LCM) method is used in the development of gamification systems to randomize questions so that users are more challenged to complete the game. From this research, it is concluded that 94% of users like the concept of Karo traditional house virtual reality, while 88% of users like their interaction with NPCs within the game, and 74% of users feel comfortable playing using VR Box even for quite a long time. Meanwhile, testing from validators likes the 3D Model design, information related to traditional houses, as well as the added features which are deemed very sufficient.
