Keanekaragaman Arthropoda pada Tanaman Kubis (Brassica Oleracea L. Var. Capitata ) Monokultur dan Tumpangsari di Desa Ndokum Siroga, Kecamatan Simpang Empat, Kabupaten Karo

Abstract

The diversity of arthropods will be more diverse and varied in intercropped cabbage with chili compared to monoculture cabbage. This study aims to compare the diversity of arthropods in monoculture and intercropping cabbage (Brassica oleracea L.) in Ndokum Siroga Village, Simpang Empat District, Karo Regency. Arthropods identification is carried out independently which was carried out from January 2024 until February 2024. This research used a purposive sampling method with yellow traps, pitfall traps, light traps and sweep nets. The results of the research showed that there are 12 orders, 53 families, and 1500 individuals of arthropods that have been discovered. Results: Diversity Index (H') monoculture < intercropping (2.00 < 2.40), Evenness Index (E) monoculture < intercropping (0.60 < 0.65). Arthropods in intercropping are more diverse than in monoculture.
