Rancang Bangun Sistem Transaksi Komoditas Hortikultura Berbasis Aplikasi Android di Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

Horticulture is a type of plant that quickly decays so a platform is needed that can help market products more quickly and efficiently. The goal of this research is to develop an online store based on Android applications so that the process of selling horticultural products can run more optimally. In this study, methods of observation and literature analysis were employed, namely by observing the sales process of horticultural products in Deli Serdang district directly and conducting interviews with horticultural commodity farmers to find out the existing problems and looking for various literature related to the agricultural product e-commerce system. The investigation's outcome is the existence of an Android application- based information system that should simplify things for horticultural farmers to sell their products and reach wider marketing. This application is designed using codular and uses MySQL password.
