The plant coefficient value is a comparison between actual evapotranspiration and potential evapotranspiration. Where each plant growth phase has a different plant coefficient value. This research aims to determine the plant coefficient (Kc) value of paprika (Capsicum annum var. grossum) in inceptisol soil media. This research was conducted in the greenhouse and Research and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra from November 2023 to February 2024 using the Hargreaves method and experimental methods with indirect measurements of components that influence the evapotranspiration rate. The results of the research show that the coefficient value for paprika plants in the initial phase is 0.86; in the middle phase it was 1.19; and in the final phase was 0.91. The plant coefficient value according to the growth phase is also influenced by the age of the paprika plant.en_US
