Sistem Informasi Distribusi Komoditi Sayur - Sayuran dan Buah - Buahan di Kelurahan Terjun

Abstract

Indonesia's geographical and climatic conditions are conducive to agricultural development, particularly for vegetables and fruits. Kelurahan Terjun in Kecamatan Medan Marelan, with its lowland areas and high rainfall, has significant potential for the agricultural sector. Several villages in this district are known for producing fruits such as rambutan, durian, mangosteen, and duku. However, farmers face challenges such as limited access to modern technology, lack of trained personnel, and environmental issues. This research aims to build a web-based information system to assist farmers in planning, monitoring, and managing the production of vegetables and fruits. The system development follows the SDLC method, including needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research is conducted in Kelurahan Terjun, Kecamatan Medan Marelan, Kota Medan, North Sumatra.
