dc.description.abstract | The development of biodiesel in Indonesia has a strategic role and is growing rapidly, providing positive impacts in various aspects. The implementation of biodiesel makes Indonesia a pioneer in the use of biodiesel, with biodiesel use of 35% (B35). The purpose of this study is to investigate how a static mixer of the perforated helical kind on the effect of temperature variations of 30℃, 45℃, 60℃ on the process of producing biodiesel using catalysis. The ingredients used include palm oil, methanol, KOH 0.5% and distilled water. This process is carried out by mixing oil-methanol in a ratio of 1:6 on a 0.5% catalyst. The method used is non-factorial (RAL) with 3 treatments and 6 repetitions. The outcomes of this research have met the determined biodiesel quality standards. The methyl ester content obtained was 99.610%-b at a temperature of 60℃. | en_US |
