dc.description.abstract | The purpose of the study was to identify the effect of concentration and soaking time of oryzalin on the growth and production of cowpea. The research was conducted at Becek Street, Sidirejo Village, Namorambe District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra from March to June 2024. This study was conducted by comparing the growth and production response of cowpea on several concentrations and duration of oryzalin immersion with control plants. The concentration of oryzalin was 0 μM, 150 μM, 300 μM, 450 μM, 600 μM, 750 μM and 900 μM and the immersion time was 24 hours, and 48 hours. The observed variables were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf greenness, stomata size, number of pods, seed weight per plant and 100 seed weight. Oryzalin treatment on plant height, number of leaves, leaf greenness, number of pods per plant at the age of 2, 3, 4, 5, MST and seed weight per plant showed significant differences compared to control plants. To conduct further research using seedlings resulting from the administration of Oryzalin so that it can be known whether oryzalin will affect the genetic derivatives or not. | en_US |
