Cloves are mostly traded in Asian markets, but cloves are consumed in almost every country in the world. The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing the contribution of clove exports to the economic growth of large exporting countries from the demand side, 2) Analyzing the contribution of clove exports to the economic growth of large exporting countries from the supply side. The method used in this research is Generalized Least Square (GLS) analysis. The data used is panel data with an aggregate demand model and aggregate production function. The results of panel data analysis on the demand side show that clove exports have a positive and significant effect on the economic growth of Indonesia, Madagascar, Sri Lanka and the Republic of Tanzania.
