dc.description.abstract | Pennisetum purpureum cv.Thailand is a hybrid grass that has higher production and nutritional content than its parents. One efforts to increase the productivity of pakchong grass is through fertilization using bokashi fertilizer goat feces and banana stem waste. This research was conducted in the Nuftah Plasma Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara and Research and Technology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatera Utara in September - February 2024 using a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment consists of P0 (control); P1= 300 g/polybag; P2= 450 g/polybag; P3= 600 g/polybag. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, number of shoots, fresh weight production and dry weight production. The results showed that the use of bokashi fertilizer goat feces and banana stems had a very noticeable influence on plant height, number of leaves, number of shoots, fresh weight and dry weight of pakchong grass. The conclusion of this study is that based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it shows that the response of bokashi fertilizer of goat feces and banana stems is able to affect the productivity of pakchong grass, with the best treatment found in P3(600 g/polybag). The higher the dose of bokashi provided, the higher the productivity produed. | en_US |
