Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Minat Mahasiswa Agribisnis di Kota Medan Menjadi Wirausahawan di Sektor Pertanian

Abstract

This research aims to determine interest in entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector and the factors that influence interest in entrepreneurship among Agribusiness students at the Faculty of Agriculture in Medan City. The research uses Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The population in this study was taken from Agribusiness students in Medan City with a research population of 3.093, while the sample used the Slovin formula with a standard error of 10% and Cluster Random Sampling was carried out so that the final sample obtained was 95 students. The data collection technique used was the questionnaire method. Data analysis techniques were carried out using Interest Index calculations, Intrument Tests, Classical Assumption test, Multiple Linear Regression Tests. Where the tool used to develop the test used is SPSS. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the entrepreneurial interest of Agribusiness students in Medan City is categorized as high. Both simultaneously and partially, the variables of personal attitude, family environment and behavioural control have a positive and significant effect on the interest of Agribusiness Study Program students in Medan City to become entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector.
