dc.description.abstractNasama̅tu Hawāk is one of the well-known Arabic songs among the Indonesian community. This song deserves reception by the Indonesian public due to its thematic quality, lyrics, and music that can touch the hearts of many people. This research aims to describe the reception of appreciation by FIB USU students. The theories used are the literary reception theories according to Pradopo (2021) and Endraswara (2013). This research uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique involved distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents. The data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman model, focusing on aspects considered important. The results of this study show that the overall reception of the song's theme, lyrics, and music received positive evaluations from the majority of respondents. The overall literary reception ranking received high appreciation from the majority of responses, particularly for the Lyrics and Music components. The feelings expressed after listening to the song as a whole can bring listeners into a nostalgic atmosphere filled with sadness for the Prophet Muhammad SAW, although some felt otherwise.en_US
