dc.description.abstract | Jamin Ginting National Road (Bts. Medan City - Bts. Karo Regency) has a very important and strategic role as a road to Karo Regency. Given the critical role of this national road, it is necessary to observe the maintenance strategy based on Permen PU No. 13/PRT/M/2011 where road maintenance is a road-handling activity, According to Permen PU No. 13/PRT/M/2011 road maintenance is a road handling activity, consisting of precaution, maintenance, and repair needed to maintain the condition of the road so that it continues to function optimally to serve traffic so that the designated lifespan can be achieved.
The results of research that was conducted using Bina Marga method (Surface Distress Index (SDI) and International Roughness Index (IRI)) for the route of BTS Medan City – BTS Karo Regency and vice versa are in a “Good” condition and the maintenance strategy consists of Regular Maintenance (Pemeliharaan Rutin) along 16,6 KM, Periodic Maintenance (Pemeliharaan Berkala) along 2,3 KM, Improvement/Reconstruction (Peningkatan/Rekonstruksi) along 1,1 KM at a cost of Rp8.831.892.870,8,-. Based on the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method, for the route of BTS Medan City – BTS Karo Regency way and vice versa are in a “Good” condition and the maintenance strategy consists of Regular Maintenance (Pemeliharaan Rutin) along 9,6 KM, Preventive Maintenance (Pemeliharaan Preventif) along 3 KM, Major Rehabilitation (Mayor Rehabilitasi) along 4,9 KM, Reconstruction (Rekonstruksi) along 0,3 KM at a cost of Rp15.775.432.618,4,-. | en_US |
