This research aims to (1) identify and analyze translation techniques in translating slang expressions from English (Bsu) into Indonesian (Bsa) by applying the theory of translation techniques by Butkuiviena and Petroline . This research is also supported by the theory of translation techniques by Vinay and Darbalnet ,which is applied to the novel "To All The Boys I'Ve Loved Before," (2) identify and describe the form of language style in the translation of slang expressions from the source language (English) to the target language (Indonesian). The research data are obtained mainly from the novel "To All The Boys I'Ve Loved Before" both in English and translated versions. The research data consist of words and phrases of English slang expressions with a total of 100 data. The results of the analysis indicate that ;(1) translation techniques used to translate slang expressions in this novel n a m e l y literal translation technique consisting of 31 data, followed by modulation technique consisting of 21 data, and adaptation and borrowing techniques consisting of 14 data. Meanwhile, (2) the most dominant language style in translating slang expressions in this novel is the casual style, with a total of 81 data. This finding indicates that the language style used in translating slang expressiond, based on the context of the novel which is young adults, "To All The Boys I'Ve Loved Before" specifically reflects the use of slang that tends to be relaxed and friendly
