Pengelolaan Asuhan Keperawatan pada Pasien dengan Nyeri Post op Sectio Caesarea melalui Penerapan Terapi Komplementer Biologic Norturing Baby Led Feeding di Ruangan Maternitas RS Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis USU Medan

Abstract

The trend of sectio caesarean (SC) delivery in Indonesia has increased every year, even exceeding the standards set by WHO. SC post op pain is a result of abdominal incision that is always felt by post op SC mothers. One of the nonpharmacological treatments to reduce post op SC pain is the application of complementary therapy biologic nurturing baby led feeding, because this position has 2 advantages, namely the relaxation technique and cutaneous stimulus. The instruments used were nursing care sheets, pain scale observation sheets, SOP and health media in the form of leaflets. The implementation of the intervention was carried out 10-15 minutes for 3 days. Assessment and measurement of the pain scale were carried out before and after the intervention. Nursing actions are carried out according to the nursing plan, namely the application of complementary biologic therapy norturing baby led feeding. The evaluation results obtained in the managed patients showed that there was a decrease in the severe pain scale to moderate after the application of the biologic nuturing baby led feeding position. This position provides a relaxing effect and stimulation of the laitaneus, so as to transfer pain tolerance. This intervention is expected to be used as a reference for health workers in applying pain management nursing care to patients to reduce post sectio caesarea pain.
