dc.description.abstractGood University Governance (GUG) is expected to improve transparency, accountability, university performance, and enhance university competitive culture at the international level. However, the implementation of GUG in Indonesia is far short of these expectations. This research primarily focuses on examining the impact of Competitive Culture, Knowledge Development on GUG and University Performance in the state universities in Indonesia by conducting Resource-Based View theory. Cluster sampling is carried out to collect the data The results of the research show a positive and significant effect of Competitive Culture on Good University Governance, Knowledge Development on Good University Governance, Good University Governance on University Performance Competitive Culture on University Governance, and Knowledge Development on University Performance. These findings align with the Resource-Based View theory showing that the capability of university contributes to overall performance improvement. Future research is suggested to broaden the scope of the research by investigating additional potential variables that may affect Good University Governance and University Performance.en_US
