A cooler box is essential for storing various items such as food, drinks, vegetables,
fruits, and meat. Conventional cooling systems typically use refrigerants like freon
or CFC (Chlorofluorocarbon), which are not environmentally friendly. An
alternative is designing a thermoelectric cooler box, which aims to achieve the
lowest possible temperature consistently. This cooler is designed to hold 1500 ml of
water and is powered by a 500WP solar panel. The cooling compartment is made
from materials such as multiplex, styrofoam, and aluminum foil. The cooling system
uses three TEC1-12715 thermoelectric modules and includes components like a
water cooling block, water radiator, DC 12V fan, and 12V pump. Testing and
calculations showed a power output of 234.68 watts, with the cooler's dimensions
being 308 mm in length, 274 mm in width, and 214 mm in height. The interior is
insulated with aluminum and styrofoam, while multiplex is used for the exterior
walls. The lowest temperature achieved inside the cooler was 17.4°C. Thus, this
thermoelectric cooler box is not only environmentally friendly but also efficient in
maintaining low temperatures for various storage needs.
