The research location was conducted in 2 (two) sub-districts, namely Tanjung Morawa Su-bdistrict and Pancur Batu Sub-district. Research method refers to SNI 19-3946-1995. From the research, the results obtained that the average waste generation in Tanjung Morawa Sub-district is 0,13 kg/person/h or 3,5 l/person/h, The characteristics of waste in Tanjung Morawa Sub-district are analysis of the water content of organic 46,20% and anorganic 23,35%, ash content produced by organic 1,48% and anorganic 10,56%, volatile organic 39,74% and anorganic 61,39%, Fixed Carbon organic 14,04% and anorganic 4,70%, the calorific value of organic 2339,63 kcal/kg and anorganic 3076,93 kcal/kg. Potential The RDF produced in Tanjung Morawa Sub-district 2.691,41 kWh. The average waste generation in Pancur Batu Sub-district is 0,11 kg/person/h and or 3,2 l/person/h, composition waste from Pancur Batu Sub-district is organic waste by 40,9%. The characteristics of waste in Pancur Batu Sub-district, namely the analysis of the water content organic 64,77% and anorganic 28,92%, ash content organic 2,60% and anorganic 15,44%, volatile levels of organic 25,16% and anorganic 55,85%, Fixed Carbon organic 5,05% and anorganic 5,34%, the calorific value of organic 1804,26 kcal/kg and anorganic 2611,80 kcal/ kg.
