Perception of Tourist Attractions, Tourism Facilities, Tourism Promotion, and the Welfare of Micro-Enterprise Actors at Pantai Indah Sibintang, Tapanuli Tengah Regency
Abstract
This study aims to determine visitors' perceptions of tourist attractions tourism facilities, tourism promotion, and micro-enterprise actors' perceptions of their welfare development at Pantai Indah Sibintang, Tapanuli Tengah Regency. The type of research is descriiptive with a quantitative approach.
The data used in this study is primary data collected through questionnaires with a sample of 50 visitors micro-enterprise actors at Pantai Indah Sibintang, Tapanuli Tengah Regency. The analysist technique used is descriptive analysis with SPSS 19.
The results of this study show that, in general, Pantai Indah Sibintang has good tourist appeal, supported by beautiful and refreshing natural surroundings, although the cost of visiting is considered inadequite. The tourism facilities are also rated fairly well, particularly for amenities like banana boats and cottages, although photo spots are considered less unique. Tourism promotion is deemed sufficent, with social media being the main promotional tool, though brochure promotion is seen as less effective. Micro-enterprise actors around the beach feel that their welfare has improved, especially in terms of purchasing power, although some respondets noted that the increase in income and turnover has not been significat.
