This research aims to determine the difference in business income before and after receiving KUR for micro businesses in Lumban Dolok Hauma Bange Village and to determine the obstacles to micro business actors in Lumban Dolok Hauma Bange Village.
The type of research currently being conducted is comparative and descriptive research. The number of samples in this research were 31 micro businesses in Lumban Dolok Hauma Bange village that had received KUR from Bank BRI. The data used in this research is a questionnaire.
The results of this research show that there is a difference in business income before and after receiving KUR from Bank BRI for micro businesses in Lumban Dolok Hauma Bange Village. Micro business actors in Lumban Dolok Hauma Bange Village face several obstacles in running their businesses. First, regarding the use of People's Business Credit (KUR) funds, the majority of respondents used these funds to increase business capital, while a small portion used them for personal needs. Second, they overcome limited access to resources by relying on social networks, collaborating with business partners, and utilizing other resources such as training from government institutions. Third, in the KUR application process, they faced difficulties with complex documentation requirements and a slow approval process, but they sought help from financial experts and prepared the documents carefully. Fourth, to face market competition, they focus on product and service quality, strengthen branding, and carry out product innovation. Finally, they manage risk by having a mature business plan, including product and service diversification, financial management, and market monitoring. This shows their efforts in overcoming obstacles to run their micro businesses successfully.
