The Relationship Between Conflict Management Strategies and Job Satisfaction Levels of Implementing Nurses at Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital
Abstract
Conflict among nurses has become a global concern. Workplace conflicts in hospitals exhibit unique characteristics. While conflict can positively impact organizational growth, it also has negative consequences that, if not properly managed, can hinder teamwork, productivity, and job satisfaction. This study aims to investigate the relationship between conflict management strategies and the job satisfaction levels of implementing nurses at Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital. The research employs a descriptive correlational design. The sample consists of 94 respondents, selected using a total sampling technique. According to Pearson's R, the 2-tailed significance value is 0.003, indicating that the P value is less than 0.05, thus confirming a relationship between conflict management strategies and job satisfaction levels of implementing nurses at Universitas Sumatera Utara Hospital.
