dc.description.abstract | This research aims to analyze the influence and determination of the combanition of NAA and Kinetin concentrations and their interactions on the shoot multiplication of barangan banana’s. This research was conducted at the Tissue Culture Laboratory, Alifa Agricultural Research Center (ALIFA-ARC), from September 2023 to January 2023. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 2 treatment factors. The first factor is the concentration of NAA: (0mg/l, 0,5mg/l, 1mg/l and 1,5mg/l). The second factor is the concentration of Kinetin: (0mg/l, 4mg/l, 8mg/l dan 12mg/l). There were 16 treatment combinations with 5 replications resulting in 80 experimental units. The parameters measured were: percentage of living explants (%), percentage of contaminated with bacteria (%), percentage of contaminated with fungi (%), number of shoots per explant (fruit), shoot height (cm), number of roots (fruit), root length (cm), number of leaves (fruit), and explant height (cm). The results showed that the NAA concentration treatment had no significant effect on all observed parameters. In the treatment Kinetin concentration had a significant effect on all observed parameters. The interaction between NAA and Kinetin concentration had a significant effect on the observed parameters: number of roots, root length, and explant height. From the research results, it can be seen that the Kinetin concentration of 1mg/l is the best concentration for all the parameters observed. The best combination was seen in the N2K1 treatment for the parameter number of shoots per explant. | en_US |
