Perbaikan Sistem Kerja dengan Pendekatan Ergonomi untuk Mengurangi Risiko Kelelahan dan Kesalahan Postur Kerja di UKM Misdi Box
Improvement of Work System with Ergonomic Approach to Reduce the Risk of Fatigue and Work Posture Errors in Misdi Box UKM
Abstract
Humans play a central role in their activities, namely as planners, designers,
implementers and evaluators in every activity (work), humans as a source of labor
are still dominant in carrying out the production process, especially repetitive
activities, especially when humans work manually. Work like this can cause rapid
fatigue and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS). The main cause of
musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS) is poor work posture when carrying out
activities at work. MSDs are complaints in the skeletal muscles resulting from
incorrect working posture and receiving static loads repeatedly over a long period
of time. MSDs can cause damage to muscles, nerves, tendons, joints, cartilage, and
intervertebral discs. Based on research, it was concluded that the highest type of
complaint was pain in the waist, followed by pain in the lower neck and pain in the
left knee and right knee. To reduce the level of worker complaints, researchers
provide suggestions in the form of redesigning facilities in the form of more
ergonomic work desks. Researchers hope that companies can implement the
suggestions given in this research so that operators can avoid occupational
diseases and can work comfortably without having complaints.
