Pengaruh Sektor Industri Pengolahan dan Sektor Pertanian Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Kabupaten Wilayah Pantai Timur Provinsi Sumatera Utara

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence the manufacturing sector and the agricultural sector have on economic growth in the East Coast Regency of North Sumatra Province. The type of research used is quantitative research with the type of explanatory research. The focus location in this research is 8 districts in the East Coast Region of North Sumatra Province. Data collection was carried out with secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics with panel data from the period 2011-2022. The results showed that simultaneously the independent variables of the processing industry sector and the agricultural sector on the dependent variable of economic growth at the 95% confidence level showed that there was a simultaneous and significant effect. Partially, it is known that the processing industry sector has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the East Coast Regency of North Sumatra Province in 2011-2022, and the agricultural sector partially also has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the East Coast Regency of North Sumatra Province in 2011-2022.
