dc.description.abstract | E-wallet is a service in the field of non-cash payment transactions that is carried out to provide efficiency, practicality, and can be used on smartphones without limitations easily and safely. Students as a young generation who are very familiar with technology, are one of the significant groups of e-wallet users. There is a student behavior that is quite interesting, namely the cashless lifestyle. This study aims to determine the effect of transaction security on purchasing decisions in the use of E-wallets for students of the Vocational Faculty, D3 Finance Study Program and D3 Metrology and Instrumentation, University of North Sumatra. The method in this study is a Quantitative method which uses numbers and statistics, the data used is primary data where the data is obtained by distributing questionnaires via google form. The contents of the questionnaire are in the form of statements about the effect of transaction security on purchasing decisions using E-wallets for students of the Vocational Faculty, D3 Finance Study Program and D3 Metrology and Instrumentation, University of North Sumatra. The results of this study indicate that transaction security on purchasing decisions for students of the Vocational Faculty, D3 Finance Study Program and D3 Metrology and Instrumentation, University of North Sumatra have a significant impact. The significant value obtained is 0.000 < 0.005 and the t-value is 4.418 > 2.010. The functional influence is shown by the regression equation Y = 8.537 + 0.554X + e. Transaction security on purchasing decisions using E-wallet for students of the Vocational Faculty of Finance D3 Study Program and Metrology and Instrumentation D3 has a significant influence. | en_US |
