Daya Tarik Salib Kasih Tarutung sebagai Destinasi Wisata di Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara

Abstract

Tarutung Love Cross is one of the tourist destinations in North Tapanuli Regency. A tourist destination must have its own quality or attraction so that it can attract tourists to visit. This research aims to find out what tourist attractions are in the Tarutung Love Cross. The research method used is field research by collecting data and observation. The results of the research show that this tourist destination has met the requirements for developing the attractiveness of a tourist destination, namely, as an attraction that can be done (something to do) at the Cross of Love, namely Praying in the Prayer House, Worship and Services, Children's Playground, Spot photo, Playing ATV. Then what can be seen (something to see) includes natural beauty, historical monuments and arts and cultural performances. Visitors can shop for souvenirs (something to buy), namely books and literature, clothing and accessories and Ulos Woven handicrafts. However, there are no social media accounts available to promote the Tarutung Cross Love tourist destination, such as Instagram and Tiktok, and the North Tapanuli Regency Regional Government must raise more awareness of the tourism potential for the community and tourists.
