Analisis Hubungan Inflasi, Harga Emas, Jumlah Nasabah, dan Penyaluran Pembiayaan Rahn pada PT Pegadaian Syariah Indonesia Periode 2003-2022

Abstract

Pawnbrokers are non-bank financial institutions that channel financing to the community which is considered easier and faster than other financial institutions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between inflation, gold prices, number of customers, and distribution of Rahn financing at PT Pegadaian Syariah Indonesia for the 2003-2022 period. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the annual report and website of PT Pegadaian Syariah Indonesia and the website of the Central Bureau of Statistics for the period 2003 to 2022. The method used to analyze the relationship between these variables is the descriptive statistical analysis method and Pearson correlation with the help of the Eviews 10 computer program and Microsoft Excel 2013. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between inflation and gold prices is negative and significant (0.0157) with a fairly strong level of relationship closeness, the relationship between inflation and the number of customers is negative and insignificant (0.2288) with a low level of relationship closeness, the relationship between inflation and the distribution of Rahn financing is negative and significant (0.0110) with a fairly strong level of relationship closeness, the relationship between gold prices and the number of customers is positive and significant (0.0340) with a fairly strong level of relationship, the relationship between gold prices and distribution of Rahn financing is positive and significant (0.0000) with a very strong level of relationship, and the relationship between the number of customers and the distribution of Rahn financing is positive and significant (0.0423) with a fairly strong level of relationship.
