dc.description.abstractThe development of information and communication technology has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including in the field of education. One of the most prominent innovations is the use of social media as a learning tool. Among the various existing social media platforms, WhatsApp has become a very popular communication tool and is widely used by various groups, including students and teachers. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using WhatsApp social media on the learning success of students at SMA Negeri 1 Manduamas. The research method used was a quantitative descriptive research method with a sample of 59 people. Based on the research results, it is known that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there is a significant influence between WhatsApp social media on the learning outcomes of class Social Media (WhatsApp) is 0.000, which means the value is less than alpha (0.05). Apart from that, the t-count value (4.783) is greater than the t-table (2.003), while for the f test, the f-count value (13,180) is greater than the f-table (4.01), so it is significant for the t test. Therefore, it can be concluded that Social Media Users (WhatsApp) have a significant influence on student learning outcomes.en_US
