Nilai Moral dalam Novel Cahaya Di Penjuru Hati Karya Alberthiene Endah: Kajian Sosiologi Sastra

Abstract

One of the literary works which contains moral values is the novel Cahaya di Penjuru Hati by Alberthiene Endah, this novel has constructive values in life. The aim of this research is to describe the moral values contained in the novel Cahaya di Penjuru Hati by Alberthiene Endah. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data collection technique in this research uses several steps, starting from reading the novel Cahaya di Penjuru Hati by Alberthiene Endah. Furthermore, data analysis techniques in this research start from data reduction, data codification, data classification, data description, data interpretation, and data verification. The theory used is Burhan Nurgiyantoro's theory. Technique for presenting data in narrative form. Narrative presentation of data is the presentation of the resulting data in sentence form. The results of this research show four forms of conveying moral values. The moral value of the human relationship with oneself, the moral value of the human relationship with other humans in the social sphere, the moral value of the human relationship with nature, and the moral value of the human relationship with God.
