Analisis Semiotika dalam Lirik Lagu غرباء /Ghurabā'/ yang Dinyanyikan oleh Sa’ad Al Ghamidy

Abstract

This research discusses the semiotics contained in the lyrics of the song غرباء /Gurabā'/ song by Syaikh Sa'ad Al Ghomidy. This research aims to find words that are included in the semiotic elements (icons, index, symbols) in the ghuraba’ song lyrics and to find out the meaning of the song's lyrics. This research is library research. The approach used to analyze this song is a semiotic approach. This research uses descriptive analysis methods. The theory used in this research is the semiotic theory introduced by Peirce based on his objects of icons, index, symbols. The results of research on the lyrics of the song غرباء /Gurabā'/ researchers found the word icon in the lyrics of the song غرباء /Gurabā'/ which consists of one topological icon, twelve metaphor icons, twelve persona index, six temporal indices and symbols two. The research results concluded that the semiotic signs in the song lyrics are full of meaning.
