Abstract

Background: Mobile libraries are part of public libraries whose job is to visit users using vehicles. Mobile libraries help libraries carry out the library's vision, mission and goals. Objective: To attract public interest in libraries, the Karo Regency Mobile Library which can be used as a spur or encouragement for the public to like reading and broaden their thinking, as well as to entertain children and adults. People who do not have reading materials for the family can do so by easy to get with this Mobile Library. Method: This writing was taken using the methods of Observation, Interview, Literature Review, Documentation, which were carried out and carried out at the Karo Regency Library. Results: The results of this paper state that activities at the Mobile Library in Karo Regency have utilized various promotional strategies to increase awareness of the use of library services. By implementing this strategy, it has been proven that the Mobile Library is able to increase public enthusiasm for visiting the library. Conclusion: Mobile Library Service activities have proven that libraries have provided innovations that have an impact on the welfare of life through community literacy by continuing to improve strategies to attract many people to deepen their interest in reading and also by implementing circulation services, reading room services, information services and other services. tell a story.
