Abstract
This research paper is entitled religious learning among homeless children: a case study of a homeless family on the edge of the railroad tracks on Jalan Pandu, Pasar Baru sub-district, Medan City sub-district. The aim of this research is to explain the religious learning carried out by small homeless families on the railroad tracks to their children and the application of these religious lessons to their daily lives by homeless children.
The method used in this research is a qualitative method which aims to obtain comprehensive results regarding the conditions that occur in the field regarding homeless children in the area next to the railroad tracks on Jalan Pandu, Pasar Baru sub-district, Medan City sub-district who learn religion from their parents and their development. application in everyday life. The sources and writing come from observations, in-depth interviews, documentation and literature studies.
The results of this research show that religious learning in the form of learning to pray, reciting the Qu‟ran, being honest, respecting neighbors and establishing friendship with homeless children by homeless families on the side of the railroad tracks on Jalan Pandu, Pasar Baru sub-district, Medan Kota sub-district is not much different from the family method. other normal. Homeless children are asked to apply the results of religious learning received from their parents so as to make homeless children moral individuals.
