The people of Aceh in the course of their long history have been known as a society that is very close and even fanatical towards Islamic teachings, so that Islam has become a cultural identity and sense of identity. The people of Aceh unite the teachings of customs and customs in such a way that they are united and blended, which in the adat saying is stated as Hukom ngoen adat lage dzat ngoen sifeut (The relationship between sharia and custom is like the relationship between a substance (object) and its nature, namely inherent and cannot be separated). The implementation of Islamic Sharia in a kaffah manner has been carried out since the work of Aceh Darussalam. Islamic law applies as positive law not only for the Kingdom of Aceh, but also for several other Islamic works in the archipelago such as Demak, Banten, and others. Since the Dutch occupation, Islamic law has been running with Kaffah in the territory of Aceh, because the Dutch Government implemented Colonial Legal Politics. But in the mid-20th century, Islamic Sharia began to be abandoned in people's lives. This research uses qualitative methodology and literature analysis and considers various case studies and relevant legal reviews. with the aim of analyzing the implementation of Qanun Jinayah in a specific context, focusing on its impact on society and the problems that may arise in connection with its implementation. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of Qanun Jinayah can have a complex impact on society, including aspects such as the protection of human rights, gender justice and social harmony. Although some aspects of Qanun Jinayah can be considered a reflection of moral and religious values in society, challenges arise in integrating Islamic law with existing national legal systems, as well as ensuring that implementation is in accordance with the principles of justice and individual freedom. This study highlights the need for a balanced and balanced approach in the implementation of Qanun Jinayah, which takes into account both legal aspects and its social impact. Further research is needed to understand more deeply how Qanun Jinayah affects society and how it can be implemented in a way that promotes justice and balanced social harmony.en_US
