Peran Diplomasi Politik Indonesia terhadap Konflik Israel-Palestina pada Masa Presiden Jokowi 2019-2024
The Role of Indonesian Political Diplomacy in the Israel- Palestine Conflict During President Jokowi's Term 2019- 2024
Abstract
The Israel-Palestine conflict is one of the most complex in the world. Indonesia, with the largest Muslim majority, holds a strategic position in supporting Palestine. During President Joko Widodo's administration (2019-2024), Indonesia demonstrated strong commitment through diplomatic efforts. This study analyzes the role of Indonesia's political diplomacy in resolving this conflict using conflict resolution and multi-track diplomacy theories, employing a descriptive analytical method and a qualitative approach. The findings show that Indonesia supports a two-state solution and human rights through multilateral diplomacy and humanitarian aid, collaborating with other Muslim countries. Indonesia's diplomacy under President Jokowi focuses on achieving a just and sustainable peace for Palestine, despite facing global challenges and geopolitical dynamics.
