dc.description.abstractIndonesia is a country with a relatively high population, this is proven by Indonesia's position which is ranked fourth with the largest population in the world (Woldometers,2022). Indonesia has a population of more than 270 million people. Where the number of violence against children that occurs throughout the year increases and continues to increase.The results of studies from various non-governmental organizations show that children in conflict with the law often receive bad treatment, and in some cases are even treated worse when compared to adults who are in the same situation. Children who are in conflict with thelaw certainly need special protection, because they are vulnerable to violence, misuse oflegal procedures and vulnerable to deprivation of their rights to live, develop and participate. Therefore, children in conflict with the law, in the terminology of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (KHA), are categorized as children in need of special protection, in addition to children who are exploited, children in emergency situations. When talking about advocacy for children in conflict with the law, most of what must be done is providing legal intervention to defend the rights of these children. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines the response of children in conflict with the law to UPTD PPA services in Tebing Tinggi City.en_US
