Phylogenetic analysis is a method commonly used to determine the diversity of an organism through reconstructing kinship relationships. Phylogenetic analysis aims to group and provide information regarding the evolution of relationships between existing tree species. This research aims to identify tree species in the USU Bekala Arboretum and to carry out phylogenetic analysis of tree species in the USU Bekala Arboretum based on sequence searches obtained from NCBI. This phylogenetic tree was created using the Neighbor-Joining method. In this research, 62 tree species were found belonging to 28 families. In the phylogenetic tree with primers, matK has a bootstrap value of 75-100 and in the phylogenetic tree with rbcL primers it has a bootstrap value of 75-98.
