Analisis Potensi Wisata Alam dan Strategi Pengembangan Pariwisata di Desa Telagah Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Tourism development is a form of community economic development with the aim of improving the community economy in a country or region. In order to develop quality natural tourism that can be enjoyed by the next generation, tourism trend that is often developed at the moment is ecotourism. Telagah is located in Sei Bingai District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, right next to Karo Regency, village that is in the process of becoming a village. tourism development. This research aims to: (1) Mapping of the natural tourist attractions in Telagah, Langkat Regency. (2) Identify potential natural tourism objects in Telagah, Langkat Regency. (3) Determine the strategy for potential natural tourism objects in Telagah, Langkat Regency. Sampling was carried out using an accidental sampling technique. The objects and attractions obtained were then described and mapped after which they were analyzed in accordance with the scoring criteria in the 2003 Guidelines for the Analysis of Operational Areas of Natural Tourism Objects and Attractions of the Directorate General of Forest Protection, Nature Conservation, and SWOT analysis. The potential offered by the Telagah tourist attraction is the beautiful natural panorama and beautiful natural atmosphere. Natural tourist attractions in the Telagah area have different levels of suitability, namely Svarga Simelir 63.12%, Pamah View 70.41%, Pamah Simelir Cottage 68.74%, Karona Sakti 60.83%, Jendela Bambu Leuser 60 .83%, Rumah Ladang 62.56%, Taman Wisata Syariah Simelir 71.87%. In the SWOT analysis, it is in quadrant 1 which shows that the situation is favorable
