dc.description.abstractThis thesis is entitled the legend of the King of Sumba in Tipang Village, Baktiraja District: A Psychological Study of Literature. The problem in this research is the intrinsic elements and psychological aspects of the id, ego and superego characters, in the legendary figure of King Sumba in Tipang Village, Baktiraja District. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research uses Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic personality theory. Based on the research results found, namely: 1. Intrinsic elements in the legend of the King of Sumba in Tipang Village, Baktiraja District: theme. Plot, background/setting, character, point of view, and message. 2. Apart from that, the research also produced the personality structure of id, ego, and superego, which is found in the figures of Raja Sumba, Sorbanibanua, Raja Sobu, Naipospos, and Siboru Pareme, in the legend of Raja Sumba in Tipang Village, Baktiraja District.en_US
