    Abstract
    The Sultan Syarif Hasyim Grand Forest Park (Tahura) is a nature conservation area and remnant forest located in the Minas Subdistrict. As the remaining forest in Riau Province, Taman Hutan Raya Sultan Syarif Hasyim plays a crucial role in preserving the local ecosystem and species. The research aims to analyze species diversity, species association, and the regeneration status of species in Dipterocarpaceae habitat Tahura Sultan Syarif Hasyim Minas. The research was conducted using purposive sampling techniques where plots were randomly placed after Dipterocarpaceae species were found. The highest Importance Value Index (INP) at the seedling and sapling levels was obtained by Santiria rubignosa, which is 19.15% and 12.74%. At the pole and tree levels, the highest INP was found in Sapium discolor and Syzigium densiflora, which were 24.83% and 23.35%. The Dipterocarpaceae association was found at the seedling, sapling, pole, and tree levels. The Dipterocarpaceae species associated were Dipterocarpus crinitus, Parashorea aptera, Shorea parvifolia, Shorea acuminata, Anisoptera marginata, Shorea balangeran, Shorea leprosula, Hopea mengarawan, Vatica stapfiana, Dryobalanops oblongifolia, Shorea conica, and Shorea singkawang. A total of 21.62% of tree species have a regeneration status of good, 3.60% none, 38.74% new, 20.72% fair, and 15.32% poor. Three Dipterocarpaceae species have a regeneration status of new, seven species have a regeneration status of fair, and one species has a regeneration status of good and none. Conservation efforts such as reforestation or replanting trees can restore and maintain the remaining forests as biodiversity hotspots.
