This research was carried out on UPT Land. Main crops of secondary crops, Tanjung Anom, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 32 meters above sea level (m asl) from September to November 2022, using a Randomized Block Factorial Design with two treatment factors and three test. The first factor is the planting distance K1: 40 cm x 350 cm; K2: 60 cm x 350 cm; K3: 80 cm x 350 cm and the second factor is the number of main branches P1: 1 ; P2: 2 ; P3: 3. The best results are obtained in the number of main branches 1 piece. Watermelon planting distance has an effect on the length of tendrils aged 4 MSPT and sugar content. The best yield is at a planting distance of 80 x 350 cm. Results The interaction between the two had a real effect on the number of leaves. The highest number of leaves was obtained in the treatment combination of 60 x 350 cm planting distance and 2 main branches.
