Pengaplikasian Abu Tulang Sapi terhadap Ketersediaan P serta Pertumbuhan Tanaman Jagung (Zea mays L.) di Tanah Andisol
Application of Cow Bones Ash on P Availability and The Growth Of Corn Plants (Zea mays. L.) in Andisol Soil
Abstract
Screen house research that treats cow bones ash as an alternative to P fertilizer to examine its effect on P availability and the growth of corn plants in Andisol soil. This study used a 2-factor factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor is the type of P fertilizer, namely: control, TSP (200 ppm P) and cow bones ash (200 ppm P). The second factor is the incubation period, namely: 10 days (I1) and 20 days (I2), repeated in 4 repetitions (blocks). The parameters observed are soil pH H2O and P-available soil, plant height, dry weight of plant canopy, dry weight of plant roots and plant P uptake. The results of this research show that the application of cow bones ash can increase soil P-available soil, plant height, dry weight of plant crown and roots, as well as plant P uptake, better than TSP fertilizer. In the incubation period, neither 10 days nor 20 days had any effect on all parameters. Thus, cow bones ash can be used as an alternative source of P fertilizer.
