The Influence of The Number of Industries, Population, and Domestic Investment Value on Employment Opportunities in The Industrial Sector in Indonesia
Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of the number of industries, population, and domestic investment value on employment opportunities in the industrial sector in Indonesia.
This research is an associative study with a quantitative approach. The type of data used in this study is secondary data consisting of the number of industries, population, domestic investment value, and employment opportunities for 5 (five) years, from 2015 to 2019. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using JASP.
The results of this study indicate that the number of industries has a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities in the industrial sector in Indonesia. The population has a negative and significant effect on employment opportunities in the industrial sector in Indonesia. Domestic investment value has a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities in the industrial sector in Indonesia. The number of industries, population, and domestic investment value together have a positive and significant effect on employment opportunities in the industrial sector in Indonesia.
