Inventarisasi dan Evaluasi Sifat Kimia Tanah pada Sistem Agroforestri di Kecamatan Porsea Kabupaten Toba
Inventory and Evaluation of Soil Chemical Properties in Agroforestri Systems in Porsea District, Toba Regency
Abstract
The conversion of forest land to agricultural land can cause a decrease in land quality. Alternatives to the decline in land quality can be overcome by wise land use such as agroforestry land use. Agroforestry can have a positive impact on the community's economy and the environment. So, this research was carried out to determine the distribution of the types of agroforestry in Porsea District, Toba Regency and to evaluate the chemical properties of the soil in Porsea District. This research uses a survey method and sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Seven soil samples were taken with a depth of 0-30 cm and then analyzed at the SSPL laboratory (Socfindo Seed Production and Laboratory) PT. Socfindo Indonesia. The parameters observed were soil pH, soil organic C, soil total N, soil total potassium, soil CEC, soil C/N ratio. Then the results of the soil analysis were adjusted based on the Bogor Research Institute. 2005. There are 2 types of agroforestry in Porsea District, Toba Regency, namely: Agrisilviculture and Agrosilvopastura. The agrosilvopasture type is a type of agroforestry that has the highest soil chemical properties with the criteria of acid pH, medium organic C, medium total N, very high available P, very high potassium, medium CEC and low C/N ratio. Of the various types of land use in Porsea District, Toba Regency, such as forest land and agroforestry monoculture land, chemical soil fertility status is better compared to other types of land use, especially the agrosilvopasture type.
