This research aims to identify the agronomic and morphological characteristics of various cassava (Manihot esculenta) genotypes originating from Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra Province. Cassava is an important agricultural commodity commonly found in rural areas and serves as a carbohydrate source. The study was conducted in Deli Serdang Regency, which has extensive land potential for cassava cultivation. Morphological and agronomic characterization was performed on four local cassava varieties: Genduruwo, Pulut, Roti, and Malaysia. The results showed significant differences among varieties in morphological characteristics such as leaf color, leaf shape, and stem diameter. Additionally, the Malaysia variety exhibited higher plant height and tuber weight compared to other varieties. This study provides valuable information for selecting suitable varieties based on cultivation conditions and is expected to support the development of cassava germplasm in the region.
