dc.description.abstractSisingamangaraja Palace is one of the most important historica l heritages in Indonesia, especially in the Bakkara area, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. This palace is a symbol of the greatness and power of Sisingamangaraja XII, a famous Batak leader in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The limitation of the problem in t his paper is that the activities obtained by tourists are not fulfilled. The activities carried out have not been able to meet tourists' expectations. The aim of the research is to find out the activities carried out by tourists and identify ways to develo p tourist attractions. This research method is a Field Study (Research Study) which was carried out for 1 month. The results of the research are the development of visiting tourist activities. Tourists can find out the history of the Sisingamangaraja Palac e, and the activities developed in developing tourist attractions at the Sisingamangaraja Palace in the form of a music festival with music performance by gondang and taganing.en_US
