Potensi Destinasi Wisata Tangkahan sebagai Daya Tarik Wisata di Kabupaten Langkat

Abstract

Tangkahan is one of the tourist destinations in Langkat Regency. Tangkahan is an ecotourism destination located in the Gunung Leuser National Park area, North Sumatra, Indonesia. Known as a "hidden paradise" in the middle of a tropical forest, Tangkahan offers a beautiful natural tourism experience with various interesting activities such as jungle trekking, interacting with elephants, bathing in clear rivers, and enjoying stunning views of waterfalls. The aim of this research is to find out about tourism. Tangkahan is one of the tourist attractions in Langkat Regency. The method used by the author in writing this paper is library research and field research. The results obtained show that Tangkahan Tourism in Langkat Regency has natural tourist attractions within it. Some of the facilities that support the attraction of Tangkahan tourism are accommodation, toilets, a fairly large parking area, connecting bridge, canteen, tourist information, as well as souvenir shops. The facilities and infrastructure in Tangkahan tourism are also growing rapidly compared to previous years due to road leveling carried out by the local government can really make it easier for tourists to come to visit.
