Abstract

Lung Ca is an epithelial cell mutation caused by carcinogens and influenced by genetic factors. Complaints that often arise are cough, hemoptysis, dyspnea, hoarseness, superior vena cava syndrome, pleural effusion, and chest pain. Pain is a common complaint for cancer sufferers that can be felt for years. The impact of pain in cancer will affect the patient's physical, psychological, social and spiritual condition. Pain management is needed by lung cancer patients both pharmacologically and non- pharmacologically. One non-pharmacological pain management is to combine finger-hold relaxation therapy and classical music therapy. The aim of this senior practicum is to apply nursing care by combining finger- hold relaxation therapy and music therapy to pulmonary Ca patients with chronic pain in the mahogany room - Meranti Prof. Teaching Hospital. Dr. Chairuddin Panusunan Lubis, University of North Sumatra. Nursing care management was carried out for three pulmonary Ca patients with chronic pain related to tumor infiltration.
